Speaking Of The Divine By Nancy Only
As a minister in a congregation where all traditions are honored, I frequently hear complaints about the use of masculine gender terms to refer to the Divine.
It’s a valid concern. I was blessed to grow up in a home where men were kind and loving. I also spent a lot of time in conventional churches where God was always spoken of in masculine terms, and so male references became second nature to me.
